6 148 ha privately owned wildlife sanctuary with beautiful mountain landscapes and open plains on a high plateau. It is a cooler, malaria-free alternative to the hot, potentially malarial game farms of the Lowveld. The reserve offers unpolluted pristine bush with numerous perennial streams running through it. Streams opening up in scenic waterfalls and big crispy cool pools. The reserve is stocked with plains game as well as predators such as leopard, spotted and brown hyena. The reserve is game fenced (21 strands) and access is through a manned entrance gate. The reserve lies on the border between Mpumalange and Limpopo Province in Sekhunkuneland within a triangle between Lydenburg, Steelpoort and Burgersfort. It borders on the Buffelskloof dam and has 70 ha of water rights from the dam. Several buildings and improvements are in different parts of the reserve such as the main camp consisting of a 2 bedroom main farm house with dorm rooms, 5 stone chalets and stabling for 6 horses. 6 separate staff accommodations with ablution, a 2 bedroom timber house, currently used as the manager's accommodation.
